COVID-19 National Response Team

As part of the COVID-19 National Response Team's effort to combat COVID-19, Department of the Air Force Acquisition COVID-19 Task Force (DAF ACT) was established to execute the requirements of the Defense Assisted Acquisition (DA2) Cell and synchronize and support the acquisition execution of DoD’s COVID-19 response to interagency (Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) requests for medical resources.

On November 12, the DAF ACT opened the Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to solicit concepts from industry in support of domestic industrial capacity for the DA2 and HHS COVID-19 response priorities.
