Who can be involved in the Unite and Fight effort?
This initiative is open to anyone who wants to participate.
Submissions are divided into two categories: Private Sector and Government. Private Sector (industry, academica, investors, and individual contributors of all types and sizes) can submit their proposed solutions to the Request for Information (RFI) above.
Government volunteers and providers (Department of Defense personnel, federal and local government employees, etc.) can submit here.
What agencies are involved in the COVID-19 National Response Team?
The National Response Team is comprised of federal agencies like the Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
What happens after I submit to the Industry Portal (Request for Information form)?
Your solution will be available to mission focus area teams for evaluation. If one of the teams is interested in working with you and using your solution, they will reach out to you for more information using the contact information provided.
What is the benefit of submitting to the Industry Portal (Request for Information form) versus the other contracting opportunities?
The RFI is open to any and every solution so we don't leave any stone unturned in our response effort. While other contracting opportunities may be tailored to a specific business type, the RFI doesn't have those limitations. It also opens up the opportunity for a stakeholder within the federal government to connect with you directly to find a contracting pathway for your solution.
Are the RFI submissions confidential?
Information submitted to the RFI is for official use only. However, please refrain from providing proprietary information in your initial submission.
Can a submission be updated after it is submitted?
If there is a substantive change once you have submitted an RFI, reply to the email you received with your RFI number to notify the team of any major changes or resubmit to the RFI.
Where can I find resources related to the ins and outs of government contracting?
