We need your innovative solutions!
AFWERX Challenge is where individuals, startups, small businesses, large enterprises, academics and research labs submit solutions to specific challenges that the U.S. Air Force (USAF) launches. AFWERX Challenge is a growing military/business ecosystem. Most of the challenges are open, seeking to facilitate dialogue and collaboration. On open challenges, participants can usually see, comment, rate and community vote on submissions.
These solutions will then be reviewed by the USAF. Winning selections will be engaged for further discussions which is typically an event or private meeting. Final selections might be funded for demonstration, testing, and may even be eligible to be awarded a military contract. AFWREX Challenge does not ask for IP, trade secrets or financial information to be disclosed publicly. But participants have the option to attach files (in the desktop browser view) that can only be viewed by the USAF evaluation team.
AFWERX Vegas 2019 Fusion to focus on USAF Multi-Domain Operation July 23-24
The AFWERX Fusion Xperience is an annual event that focuses on solving real U.S. Air Force problems in a 6- to 18-month window, using Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products and services that have military applications—often, from non-traditional vendors who may otherwise lack access to or familiarity with military partners.
Workshop lays groundwork for AFWERX Multi-Domain Operation (MDO) Challenge & July 2019 Fusion
More than 130 technologists, military personnel, business representatives, and other innovators gathered at a 2-day facilitated collaborative-design workshop on Multi-Domain Operations (MDO)—part of an effort to deliver to the U.S. Air Force prototypes and business partners by leveraging Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products for evaluation and use by the military within a 6- to 18-month window.
WORKSHOP TARGETS BETTER TECH TO SHARE AIR FORCE LESSONS AND TACTICS
In a 2-day facilitated brainstorming workshop earlier this month, staff and subject matter experts with the U.S. Air Force’s 561st Joint Tactics Squadron sought to identify more efficient, more effective ways to develop and distribute information on how to fly, fight, and win.
